Homeland

Me and Phil have been passing the last couple of weeks by watching Homeland.  And what a brilliant program it is!

I bought Phil series one on Blu ray for Christmas and we got into it so much that we downloaded series two from Blinkbox  It was so easy.

Now we can't wait for series 3.

Puddle jumping

As it had rained a lot in the night there were lots of puddles and Thomas was very excited about wearing his new Wellie boots and jumping in the puddles.

Even though it was messy it was lovely to see him having such fun, which was free!  It also reminded me of when I was a little girl and how much fun I used to have jumping in the puddles.

Luckily the drinks holder came in handy to carry the muddy boots home

On the move

So Lucas has really started to move around.  He isn't quite crawling yet but I don't think it will be long.  You put him in one area of the lounge then look back and he is over the other side.  He shuffles on his back, spins to his front, bumps around a bit and gets to what he wants to.

School time

Thomas has now started pre school and seems to be really enjoying it.

He only goes twice a week but it is good to get him used to being with other people and playing with other children.

I can't believe how fast time goes.  Before I know it Lucas will be at pre school too!

The first day I stayed with him and it was good to see what happened.  They play for a while and then sit down for story time.  Then they wash their hands ready for a snack of fruit and milk or water and after go and play outside.  When they come back they have a sing song and then its home time.

It is very odd not knowing exactly what he does.  Normally I am just in and out to collect him quite fast as it is a bit chaotic so I don't have time to get much info on what has happened and have to rely on Thomas telling me.  He can bend the truth slightly.  This morning when I asked him if anyone changed his nappy he said no.  So I said I would need to change it before lunch then.  This made him change his mind and said actually yes the teachers had changed his nappy.....7 times!  You see the problem :-)

NTA's

I was so lucky to be asked to go to the National Television awards by one of my friends.  I absolutely love watching TV so couldn't wait.

The night was fabulous and I did find myself a little star struck  We had fantastic seats and a great view.  We were right by the side of the stage so could see the faces of the famous people sitting in front of the stage and watched them when they collected their awards.

I also found the organisation really interesting.  Watching the cameras moving and the staff running around.

The next day my voice was a bit husky from all the shouting and cheering I had been doing. Especially when Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby walked past.

Having a break

So I had a bit of a break from blogging but don't worry I am back now.

I was poorly with a virus and then Sophie my cat sadly passed away but I am back now and looking forward to blogging and sharing with you.

So some of the posts might be a little late because I am making up for lost time.  Better late than never :-)

Dentist

Got the dentist today :-(  Haven't been for years but need to make the most of my free treatment before I run out of time.  I've had a baby, surely the dentist can't be that bad?

Thomas talk

Thomas was yawning this morning, I asked if he was tired.  He actually admitted that he was tired!  I asked why he was tired and he replied that he hadn't got much sleep recently.  He he

Boys

Tormenting their Daddy :-)

TV

Thomas keeps asking for the tele on in the mornings. I said no. I said "isn't it nice as a family to spend quality time together in the morning and chat" he had a think and then said "no"! Cheeky.

Thomas talk

As usual Thomas was asking questions like where we got the curtains, then asked how they got up there. I said Daddy put them up. He said, I hope he was careful putting them up. You'd better keep an eye in them in case they fall on Lucas.
What an imagination.

Thomas talk

Thomas classic-he said "Lucas has for stubble like Daddy“, I said "no he hasn't, neither has Mummy”. He said "no, you don't have stubble....or a Willy!"

Play doh time

Super eyes

I'm hoping this will sort out my bags under my eyes.
So far it feels nice when put on, tingles a bit and freshens around my eyes.

Watch this space for the end results and if it does work after time.

Soldiers

First breakfast of 2013.

Although I overcooked the eggs due to having to change Thomas's nappy inbetween, so more like hard boiled eggs and strips of toast. Still tasty though.
