What does size matter?

Thomas was given a spider man top for his birthday and was asking if he could watch the spider man film. Phil said he was too little to watch it. He thought about it for a while and asked why it mattered what size he was. Too cute.

McDonalds

My healthy eating went well until twelve o clock when my sister took us to McDonalds. I'd decided to have a chicken wrap but ended up having a big Mac meal, large! Then polishing off Thomas's left overs too. Not good, but I did enjoy it.
Maybe tomorrow will be a better day :-)

Child dinners

Reminds me of when I was a girl. Chicken nuggets, mash and beans.

New start

Phil has been off work and we went away with the boys, this also meant wine every night and eating lots of scrummy, unhealthy food so today is a fresh start.

Back on the slimming world diet and alcohol only at weekends. Fingers crossed it won't take too long to get back to where I was.

Even though I've enjoyed eating and drinking what I like I do feel unhealthy and a bit wobbly in areas :-) so am looking forward to being good again.

Had such a great time seeing mcfly. I was so happy my friend had a spare ticket so offered it to me. I really love them!

Thomas was given this bird house by a very lovely person and really enjoyed painting it. He was so so proud and couldn't wait to show Daddy :-)

Feast

So today is the last day Phil is off on holiday and is also the last day of eating naughty so we are making the most of it with an Indian. Yum.
Ideally we wanted a take away but I convinced Phil it was cheaper to do it ourselves. Although now I wish I hadn't!

Egg on your face

I was disappointed to hear that someone had thrown eggs at Simon Cowell during the live Britains got Talent final. 

I do like Simon Cowell but even if I didn't I think that is a horrible thing to do and it must have shocked him.

Messy play with friends

Painting with his friend Lucy. He enjoys it so much but I need to gear myself up for it with all the mess so he doesn't do it as often as he'd like.

We didn't have much in but fancied a tasty breakfast so Phil made this delicious tart with parma ham, tomatoes and mozzarella. Yum

Hello

Sorry I have not blogged for a while.  I was poorly with a virus and then was rushing around organising the boys birthdays and then went on holiday. 

But I am back now and can't wait to share my stories with whoever would like to read them x x

Mr Maker

A great present for Thomas's birthday. Kept him amused and it was lovely to see him playing and making faces using his imagination.


I think I will ask for something similar for my birthday, I enjoyed it too :-)
